Q1. What will my Web address look like? What will it be?
A1. The standard free option is a subdomain that would look something like this:
www.jamessampson.victorydiy.com. Of course, your name or whatever you want your web site to be called, would replace 'jamessampson' in the Web address. For an additional fee, you can have your own custom web address. So perhaps you want yours to be
www.SampsonPlumbing.com. All you have to do is select that option in the shopping cart and we will work with you to secure the Web address and direct it to your VDIY site.
Q2. I'm a busy person, and I don't have time to sit
down and create an entire Web site at one time. Can I save changes to my site without having to pay for it right away?
A2. Yes you can. You can save your progress at any point during the process. All you need to do is register with us. Registering is free and simple. Once you have registered your site, you may log in at any time to continue creating/editing your Web site.
Q3. I'm having trouble uploading my photographs to the site. What gives?
A3. Photos have to be under 3 MB (also known as 3000 KB) in size. You can usually see how large your image is by right clicking on it and viewing 'image properties' or another selection similar to that. If the image is larger than 3 MB, then you will need to reduce it in size using any of the many free photo editing software selections available on the Internet.
Q4. Can I pay with PayPal? How about sending a check?
A4. The only option we currently offer for payment is credit card: Mastercard, Visa, or Discover. If you need to pay by check, please call our customer service department at 800-670-5716 and they can assist you in this matter.
Q5. Are you guys a credible organization? How do I know you're not some fly-by-night outfit?
A5. VictoryDIY.com is owned and managed by Victory Enterprises, Inc. Victory Enterprises was incorporated
in 1998 and is a member in good standing with the Davenport, Iowa Chamber of Commerce as well as the Cedar Rapids, Iowa Chamber
of Commerce. Please feel free to call the Davenport Chamber at 563-322-1706 for a reference.
Q6. Once I have paid for my Web site, am I able to go back and make changes to what I have created?
A6. Of course. Once you have registered your Web site, you can enter the email address and the password
you created to access the Website
here or
by simply clicking the Existing Customer Log In button at the bottom of any page. Once you have logged
into your existing account, you can make changes as needed.
Q7. How does my Contribution page work?
A7. You will have two options for your campaign contributions web page.
- Every Victory DIY Web site includes basic information that allows a contributor to mail a check to you at your specified address.

An online credit card contribution add-on is also available. For an additional cost of $99, you will be set up to take online contributions.
- Your administrative contact will be emailed when credit card contributions are made to your campaign.
- Checks are mailed to campaigns on the 6th of each month for the preceding month's contributions. If the 6th lands on a weekend or holiday, checks will be mailed on the following business day.
- An industry standard 6% credit card and processing fee is deducted before the contribution is mailed.
- The contribution will be billed to the contributor's credit card as "Victory DIY". Each contributor will also receive an email notification to confirm his or her donation(s).
- Campaigns and candidates are responsible for observing all local, state and federal laws in relation to campaign contributions. VictoryDIY.com and Victory Enterprises, Inc. will not be liable for compliance with campaign finance regulations. VictoryDIY.com serves only as a collection mechanism for political contributions.
Q8. Can I purchase additional options such as the credit card component or the TV/Radio page after I purchase my Web site?
A8. Yes. You may purchase additional add-ons during the initial check out process, or you may revisit your account at any time to purchase them.
